With late August creeping up, it’s time to get serious! Serious about our Paleo lunches, that is.
I’m talking about that time of year that we have to be more strategic about food, especially if you want to continue to eat healthy Paleo meals that work well on-the-go.
I’m the first to whine about the planning aspect, believe me! Lunchcan feel like a chore – I know that feeling well. It’s typically not our favorite meal of the day, since it’s often rushed, and you might also feel limited with what you can eat if you’ll be out of the house. With just a little bit of planning though (we can do this!) Paleo lunches can be delicious, filling, healthy, and easy to prepare.
Whether you’re packing your lunch for work, school, or simply because you’ll be out of the house all day these 20 Packable On-the-Go Paleo Lunches will have your needs covered. Many are Whole30 friendly in addition to Paleo or easy to adapt to be Whole30 compliant.
*Just a note – many of these are “leftovers” lunches, meaning you make it ahead of time (or for dinner the night before) and then pack lunch portions as you need during the week.
But first, what to pack your lunch in? (Click Pictures for Info)

About Michele
More than a little into running and paleo recipes (yoga now too!) but I'm not here to rain on your grains (or anything else) so come along for the ride! I do a little too much of everything (except cleaning), and I enjoy laughing at myself. As long as I'm the one making the jokes, that is. Just kidding. So bring me your angst, your appetite and your frying pan and climb aboard!

These are some great ideas! My lunches have gotten so boring lately- salads and leftovers. The leftovers aren’t so bad, but in general my meals have gotten way too repetitive. I need to try some new recipes I think!

In the refrigerator up to 4 days, I’ve never frozen them, hope that helps!

I seriously think my favourite thing about working from home has to be the fact that I don’t have to pack a lunch anymore 😆 I’ve never really been a big fan of lunch in general, so trying to figure out what to take with me was always a struggle that usually ended with an unimaginative ABJ sandwich…

I love making romaine lettuce wraps with leftover turkey or chicken, avocado, tomato, and cucumber 🙂 I also LOVE just eating roasted vegetables…with a side of protein 🙂

I made the turkey meatballs, egg roll in a bowl and the sun dried tomato chicken. ALL were very good. However, for as delicious as the chicken was, I would not recommend it as a to go food. Delicious, but potentially messy. Can’t see eating it at your desk. Otherwise great tasting recipes.

After I was told I had Hashimoto’s, the clinician suggested I go paleo to try and bring it into remission since I’m not a fan of the medications. I’ve been pretty hesitant to try paleo – too expensive, one paleo coworker lived almost entirely off bacon and eggs (and I can’t eat eggs), the frozen paleo lunches are super expensive compared to what I normally pack for lunch, and the few recipes I’d seen posted on Facebook were pretty unimaginative. I’d seriously envisioned a life of beef jerky and celery sticks XD
Gotta say, your website and recipes are a total GAME CHANGER!! They’re bright, they’re colorful, they’re varied, and they’re not eggs in every single meal and I can easily omit them from the ones that are. :3 These are great! And these lunches may save me from my dismal GF peanut butter sammich routine. <3 I so can't wait to start cooking these for my lunches and dinners with my fiance :3

Loved your ideas and will try them.
Have a question first.
I work at a 9-10 hour shift job.
Would like to eat healthy and pack multiple lunch boxes if necessary.
How long will there recipes last in a air conditioned office IT office.
How to plan a lunch box, that isn’t going to spoil, which you might eat say 9-10 hours after packing it?This has been a sticking point in my healthy journey, awaiting your help.

Love your recipes and ideas. Do you have any suggestions for packaged lunches that does not require heating or utensils? My husband usually eats while driving between jobs. He’s a road mechanic so there is no place to heat food and eating with utensils is not possible. He normally works 10-12 hour days so filling meals or lots of snacks is a must. Thanks!

Now I have an important goal is to learn French in a year. That is why I try to use every opportunity and every free time. For example, during my lunch break, I prefer to watch a TV show or an episode of a series. In general, learn French with Lingopie is quite simple, because on this platform you can watch different films, TV shows and series in French as well.
